1. Privacy Policy

1. Basic Policy SeatXray (the “App”) is an open-source flight analysis tool provided by an individual developer. The App is designed with privacy-by-design principles, and the developer does not obtain users' confidential information.
2. Handling of Credentials Any Amadeus API client ID/secret or credentials for services such as Cloudflare that a user enters are stored only on the user’s device in an encrypted form. The developer does not view, collect, or transfer these credentials to external servers.
3. Flight Data and Sync Flight information searched for or saved within the App is stored in a local database. If synchronization is enabled, data is transferred directly to cloud storage under the user’s control (such as Cloudflare D1/KV or Google Drive). This transmission occurs directly between the user and the cloud provider and does not pass through the developer’s servers.
4. Use of Third-Party Services The App uses APIs provided by Amadeus IT Group S.A. Data processing related to use of these APIs is subject to Amadeus's privacy policy.
2. Terms & Disclaimer
1. Service Definition SeatXray is an informational assistance tool that analyzes and visualizes flight data obtained using the user’s own API key. The App does not guarantee ticket booking, changes, or official seat assignments.
2. User Responsibility and Charges Users are responsible for using their own Amadeus API keys when using the App. Any charges associated with API usage (for example, fees incurred when exceeding a free tier) are the responsibility of the user regardless of cause. The developer is not liable for any unintended charges that may arise from bugs or malfunctions of the App.
3. Accuracy and Interpretation of Information "Seat block reasons" and amenity information shown by the App are the developer’s interpretations based on codes retrieved from the API and are not official airline information. Due to aircraft changes, system errors, or airline operational decisions, actual conditions may differ. The developer is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect information.
4. Prohibited Conduct Users must comply with the Amadeus API terms of use. Excessive polling (automated monitoring), scraping, or any other actions that place undue load on API providers are prohibited. If such actions result in suspension of a user’s API account, the developer assumes no responsibility.
5. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided in its current condition under the AGPL-3.0 license. The developer makes no express or implied warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App.
